if you are not happy with your phone purchase you got up to 21 days to return the phone back to giffgaff for a full refund. If the phone you've bought isn't quite what you wanted, you've got 21 days, starting on the day following receipt of the phone, to change your mind and claim a full refund.
All returns to giffgaff MUST be booked through our system (your giffgaff account) so that your handset return is allocated a unique reference number. You can keep a track of where your device is at any time through your giffgaff account.

GIFFGAFF RETURN POLICY

 

When you are buying a phone off giffgaff, you can return it within 21 days following the receipt of the phone if you changed your mind. If your phone is faulty within 30 calendar days of receipt, you can return it back to giffgaff for a replacement or full refund. Please refer to the Return policy for further details about your right to cancel and your right to reject.

 

 

 

BOOK YOUR RETURN

 

To return your phone, please use the online booking form. Go to the My orders section. Select the phone you wish to return and follow the on-screen instructions.

 

You'll be able to print a postage label, use it to send your phone back free of charge. Please note that this postage option does not cover for damages or for the loss of the parcel, nor provide you with delivery tracking.

 

You will be able to track the status of your return in the same section of the website once it is received by the return centre.

They come in 3 different grades

Good

These phones are in perfectly usable condition. They’ve lived a good life and they’re fully functional with only some minor wear and tear.

Think of your friend who uses their phone all the time. Someone who might toss their phone in a pocket or handbag with their keys while they’re out and about. They’re not too worried about the odd mark as long as the phone works.

There may be a few scratches on the screen, some pitting around the edges of the phone or scuffing on the back. Nothing major.

Very Good

These phones are in very good condition. You can at least tell they’re pre-owned. But only if you look closely.

Think of your friend who keeps their phone safely wrapped in a case but isn’t too bothered by the odd light scratch.

A few superficial marks are possible around the edges of the phone. These phones have lived, but it’s been an easy life.

Excellent

These phones look practically brand new. They’re in great condition with no marks or scratches on the screen.

This is the phone owned by your friend who treats it like their baby. They've probably popped on a case and screen protector 10 seconds after opening the box and they never took it out.

These phones are so close to new you’ll be hard pressed to tell the difference.

In the unfortunate event that your handset develops a fault you can ONLY return the handset to giffgaff using our returns process, your giffgaff warranty does NOT allow you to send it for repair with the manufacture or any other repair centre. Please note that the following will apply with regards to your warranty expiry date:

  • If my phone is repaired (but not replaced) WITHIN the first 30 days of purchase when will my warranty expire?

Your warranty will expire 6 months from the date of the repair (In effect your warranty period will start afresh).

  • If my phone is repaired (but not replaced) AFTER 30 days of your initial purchase date when will my warranty expire?

Your warranty will expire 6 months from the date of your original purchase.

  • If my phone is replaced WITHIN 30 days of purchase when will my warranty expire?

Your warranty will expire 6 months from the date the handset is replaced. (In effect your warranty period will start afresh)

  • If my handset is replaced AFTER 30 days of your initial purchase date when will my warranty expire?

Your warranty will expire 6 months from the date of your original purchase.

Phones are delivered Monday to Friday. There are no deliveries on Saturday, Sunday or Bank/Public holidays. This table shows you when your phone will be delivered, based on the time and day you place your order.

Note: Please be aware that if you are ordering a phone on a Bank or Public Holiday, that you will need to add an extra day for each Bank or Public Holiday. Phone orders are not processed on these days.
