Did you report the SIM lost/stolen? if so, A replacement SIM will be sent out first class. It will be delivered to your registered address found under your details page here http://www.giffgaff.com/profile/details

The replacement SIM will have still have your existing number & any active allowances e.g. goody-bag or/and Airtime credit.

@bhonita60 Hi there - Sorry to see that you have lost your giffgaff SIM card.  When you say that you ordered a replacement SIM from giffgaff, did you report your original SIM lost to giffgaff, or, did you simply order a new SIM?    You have the option to either report to giffgaff that your SIM has been lost for a replacement to be sent, or, obtain a brand new unactivated giffgaff SIM and perform what is known as a SIM Swap procedure instead. Please see your options below:-

OPTION 1 - REPORT SIM LOST TO GIFFGAFF FOR A REPLACEMENT SIM

If you happen to lose your SIM card and/or phone, please let Giffgaff know so they can block them. The Lost and stolen page guides you through the most appropriate solution for each situation. Giffgaff will send you a replacement SIM card with your current mobile number associated with it.

Let us know about your lost SIM (option to bar your phone and Sim card, or just your Sim card)

When you have contacted Giffgaff requesting a replacement Sim card, it typically takes 1-3 working days for your new SIM to arrive and is sent by 1st class post, you'll need to activate it online when it arrives by logging into your account and clicking here.

Giffgaff advise you to activate the replacement SIM card as soon as your receive it as your goodybag / gigabag may still be active. You'll then be able to select to recur your chosen plan again.

OPTION 2 - OBTAIN A NEW GIFFGAFF SIM CARD AND PERFORM A SIM SWAP PROCEDURE (TRANSFERS NUMBER/CREDIT/GOODYBAG ONTO YOUR NEW SIM).

If you have lost your giffgaff SIM card, you can replace it with a new SIM. This is what Giffgaff call a 'SIM swap'. Performing a SIM Swap transfers your Giffgaff mobile number and any airtime credit or goodybags you have active with us onto a new SIM card.

SIM and Number (change your SIM) – Please click or tap this link to view full procedure and to order a new SIM for the process (SIM delivery with 3 working days). Need your SIM quickly? Giffgaff SIM cards are now available to purchase in Tesco, Sainsbury's, Poundland and in more independent grocers and news agents around the country (Giffgaff in your local shop announcement).

Firstly, you will need to order a new giffgaff SIM. All our SIM cards are now multi-sized. It’s a Mini SIM which a Micro and Nano SIM can also pop out of, if required. Order Giffgaff SIM

It usually takes around 5 working days for a SIM to be dispatched and delivered. Once it arrives, you then perform the SIM Swap procedure. Sound complicated but thankfully it’s really easy to do.

To perform a SIM Swap:

1. Back-up any contacts, texts and other data saved on your current SIM to your phone memory or PC, as this cannot be transferred through SIM Swap.

2. Go to the Replace your SIM section of My giffgaff and click on 'Activate your SIM'.

NOTE: If you have an active PAC code on your account then the link above will not work for you. Instead follow this link to cancel the PAC code and proceed from the point above.

To help you perform a SIM Swap, please view step-by-step SIM Swap Guide. It also features a great video tutorial on the process too, which I recommend you view.

Please Note:-

> It can take up to 24 hours for a SIM swap to complete (but it’s usually quicker). And you will lose service while it's processing.

> SIM swap is not available between 9.30pm and 4.30am.

> If you’ve recently requested to move your number to or from giffgaff, please don’t try to swap your SIM.

Hi there @bhonita60

This link will inform you of how to bar your sim and/or phone should you lose it or have your phone stolen and then order a new one.
http://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Help-Ask-the-community-got-stuck/How-do-I-report-my-phone-and-or-SI...

If you report your SIM as lost / stolen http://goo.gl/KP4hQ you will get a
replacement SIM (this will be 3 in 1 sim which has a STANDARD a MICRO and a NANO size sim all in one).
Furthermore you get to keep your number,Payback and credits. The only issue with this is that once you report your sim lost or stolen, your account is
blocked until you activate your replacement sim. You will need to ask an agent (https://giffgaff.com/support/ask) to get it unblocked due to security reasons but this does not require a further topup to do.
