lost moblie and sim card

Hi,

I have lost my mobile phone with sim card in it.  I am thinking of blocking the phone and sim card, but want to keep same number on a phone and giffgaff sim ard.  Is this possible.

Hello @hemanju sorry about the phone loss There are two ways of doing this. Order a sim from your https://giffgaff.com/orders/mgm or purchase one locally. You can do a sim swap https://giffgaff.com/profile/details#simswap This will transfer over your number and credit to a new sim. Easy to do and normally complete within 30 minutes ( occasionally up to 24 hours ) You can also choose to report it lost https://giffgaff.com/support/lost. This will take a little longer so you will be without your phone for a few days while they post you a sim with your number on it .

You will then have the option of either having a new sim sent out (if you choose this option, you must use the sim that is sent out)  or you can buy a spare sim from a shop (if you have not already got a spare sim) and perform a sim swap - the link above will explain all this.

Sorry to hear you have lost your phone,yes it is possible,all you need to do is use the link below to block your phone and sim and also order a replacement sim

You should report your lost phone / sim to giffgaff as soon as possible, you can use the link below
http://giffgaff.com/support/lost
you will be given the choice to either "Bar SIM only" or "Bar SIM and Handset" so please ensure you only click on the "Right Option".
when you have reported the sim stolen/lost an agents will be able to pause any goodybag you currently have active until you receive the replacement Sim,
The replacement sim which will have your remaining credit/goodybag balance and more importantly, your existing giffgaff mobile number
when your new sim arrives you will need to contact an agent to get the replacement Sim unblocked.
