@phonecard

Yes, You can order another free SIM from your spread page here https://giffgaff.com/orders/mgm or you can can pick one up for high street retailers e.g. Tesco, Iceland and Poundland for around 75p

All new giffgaff SIMs are 'trio' SIMs made up of a Standard, Micro and Nano. If you wish to form the Nano or Micro size SIM all you will need to do is push out the middle of the SIM as shown in the image below:

When the SIM arrives perform a SIM Swap. The SIM swap will transfer your current number and any active goodybag / credit over to the new SIM and can be performed any time between 4.30am and 9.30pm

You can follow this https://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Using-giffgaff/What-is-SIM-Swap/ta-p/7320084 fantastic guide i found on how to perform the SIM Swap or you can follow the SIM Swap video tutorial below:

@phonecard Hi Smiley Happy

yes:  do you have a spare sim?

if not then Order your sim here: https://giffgaff.com/orders/mgm

Sim Swap: Swapping your sim,
this can be performed anytime between 4.30am and 9.30pm
1 Back up contacts to your phone (if need be)
2 For sim swap, log into here https://giffgaff.com/activate
3 Put the 6 digit code in from your new sim, And click continue,
4 On the next page it will show the 6 digit activation codes and sim serial numbers of your current and new sim cards.
5 Click where it says... "Yes I want to replace my SIM"
(for mobile browsers please remember to scroll down to see)
6 On the next page click "yes I'm sure"

then wait up to 30 minutes or sooner (normally about 10 minutes) for activation,
this allows you to keep your number/goodybag and credit etc

@phonecard You can do what you do ask, if you have a replacement sim card you can begin right away otherwise obtain your replacement sim and then perform a sim swap procedure

I'm too impatient to wait for a free Sim so..

buy one for less than a pound at Wilkos/B&M/Poundshop/Tesco/Argos/Iceland/ASDAand even my corner shop sells them now and do a,"Sim Swap".Most of these places are open until 8pm Monday to Saturday and 10am til 4pm Sundays/Bank holidays.Do NOT activate the New Sim the normal way e.g don't put any money on it as a blank unused Sim is needed for a Sim swap and the Sim-Swap process will activate the new Sim.

and here's an easy to follow video,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1QoXIl6xEM

you can only do a SIM swap between 4.30am and 9.30pm and it can be like when you first join GiffGaff
e.g keep restarting the phone over a few hours after the Sim Swap.

This will also transfer all your number/calls/text and data allowance across and disable the old Sim-Card
so it can't be used.
