you must activate it https://giffgaff.com/support/sim-and-number/activate-your-sim

after 24 hours it will show here on your account by your username http://giffgaff.com/dashboard

Please reward with best answers and kudos when you have been helped by giffgaffers

You will get an extra £5 credit when activating a sim from an existing giffgaff member so you will have £15 not £10

You need to activate the sim and a number will then be allocated to it, this will appear on your dashboard.

If you already have a giffgaff number, then you can swap the new sim to get your number back from here:

http://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Using-giffgaff/What-is-SIM-Swap/ta-p/7320084

Once you do a SIM swap all the account details of your old SIM will be automatically transferred on the new SIM along with your goodybag and it take up to 24 hours.

Incase you're unable to do a SIM swap from the above link then contact an Ask and Agent from here:

https://giffgaff.com/support/ask/activations and give them the below details:

- 19 digit of the SIM number which is at the back of the SIM card
- Activation code of the spare SIM (they will swap it for You)

Hi @laqueenie1991

Simply order another sim from your spread page https://giffgaff.com/orders/mgm

Please note all SIMs now shipped by giffgaff are 3 in 1 Standard , Micro and Nano simply push out the middle of the SIM to form a nano size SIM see this image http://s24.postimg.org/7t8vp0m5x/large.jpg

When the SIM arrives you will need to perform a SIM swap by following this http://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Using-giffgaff/What-is-SIM-Swap/ta-p/7320084 guide or you can follow this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1QoXIl6xEM video demo.

The SIM swap process will transfer your current number and allowances i.e goodybag/gigabag and/or airtime balance over to the new SIM. The process should complete within 30 minutes but, during busy periods can take up to 24 hours.
