You can order another FREE SIM from your spread page here https://giffgaff.com/orders/mgm

OR you can pick one up for around 79p from retailers e.g. Tesco, Iceland and Poundland.

All new giffgaff SIMs are 'trio' SIMs made up of a Standard/Micro/Nano). If you need to form the Nano for the iPhone SE size SIM simply push out the middle of the SIM.
3 in 1 SIM card

When the SIM arrives perform a SIM Swap. The SIM swap will transfer your current number and any active goodybag / credit over to the new SIM and can be performed any time between 4.30am and 9.30pm

You can follow this https://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Using-giffgaff/What-is-SIM-Swap/ta-p/7320084 link on how to perform the SIM Swap or follow this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RWpzgyZU-A YouTube guide.

Don't forget to back up any contacts on your SIM as these do not transfer as part of the process.

Got a 3in1 unactivated giffgaff SIM?

Then do a SIM Swap to take across your phone number and any credit/goodybag you might have:

If not, order giffgaff 3in1 SIM here (4-5day delivery)

OR

pop into local Iceland, Poundland, Sainsbury, Tesco for a 79p SIM (Quickest...)

Hi there Jo

If you need a different sized SIM card (Nano SIM/chip), you’ll need to perform a SIM Swap on a new, unactivated Giffgaff SIM card.

If you need a different sized SIM: Please check your current SIM. If it is a relatively new giffgaff SIM, it may already be one of Giffgaff’s Trio SIMs (it will have markings in which other SIM sizes can pop out of), handy if you need a different sized SIM.

Need to order a new SIM? Please order a new SIM card via your dashboard (spread giffgaff). SIM Cards are sent 1st Class Mail and will arrive within 3 working days.

Need a new SIM in a hurry @jogibbons? You can now buy giffgaff SIM cards in Asda, Tesco, Poundland, Co-op, Martin's / McColl's, Nisa Today's, Iceland and many other shops and newsagents – they are priced at around £ 1.00 (please view this announcement for more details about buying a SIM from a shop).

To make life easy, giffgaff are now sending out triple SIMs which contain all 3 different sizes of SIMs in one. This means that a single SIM can be used as a standard sized SIM (Mini SIM), a Micro SIM and a Nano SIM. Hence you cannot order the wrong SIM and giffgaff doesn't have to stock 3 different sized SIMs. Triple SIMs are also known as trio, 3 in 1 or hybrid SIMs.

When you have your new SIM to hand and you’re ready, you can start the SIM Swap process. When you perform a SIM Swap procedure, your number and any airtime credit / goodybag bundles are transferred onto your new SIM card.

To perform a SIM Swap:

  • Back-up any contacts, texts and other data saved on your current SIM to your phone memory or PC, as this cannot be transferred through SIM Swap.

  • Go to the Replace your SIM section of My giffgaff and click on 'Activate your SIM'.

  • If you have an active PAC code on your account then the link above will not work for you. Instead follow this link to cancel the PAC code and proceed from the point above.

Please view Giffgaff’s “What Is SIM Swap” Guide for full instructions on how to perform a SIM Swap procedure.

discoandrew is inviting you to join Giffgaff and take advantage of their great value SIM Only Deals.

Order a free Giffgaff SIM through My Referral Link (click or tap here) and you'll also receive £ 5.00 FREE WELCOME CREDIT within 24 hours of SIM card activation. Thank you.

Hi @jogibbons You can do is just order a new SIM from your Spread Giffgaff page https://giffgaff.com/orders/mgm and when it arrives do a SIM swap http://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Using-giffgaff/What-is-SIM-Swap/ta-p/7320084 (doing this won't block your phone but it will deactivate your old SIM)
