Hi there and thanks for visiting the community.
Please can you try to perform,a manual roam, which basically is searching for networks on your device.
Go to your phones "settings" and Select mobile network options, and Change the Network Selection Mode from Automatic to Manual and list of available networks will be displayed after a few moments.
Select any other network that is not your home provider network and After a few moments you will see "No Service" on the display. Now select your home provider(which is o2) network and change the selection back to Automatic, and see if that helpsSmiley Happy.

Try selecting the network manually. And check that you do have credit:

First thing to do is to check your payment history and dashboard, go to:

Order History: https://giffgaff.com/orders/history

Dashboard: https://giffgaff.com/dashboard

You can also use the balance shortcodes

Dial *100# for your airtime balance

Dial *100*7# for your goodybag balance.

If there is still no luck, then for account related issues it is really best to contact an agent:

Please be patient as can take up to 24hrs to reply.

hi,when you see not registered on network it can either mean your local mast is having problems and you can't connect to it

check here
http://giffgaff.hourb.com/

or worse , it can mean that your phone maybe IMEI blacklisted by another network ,

The magic of a clean SIM!  It might just have been badly seated (not quite making correct contact).
