odd text message

Hi i am getting a message that appears to be from giff gaff saying they are unable to send me emails such as password resets as my email was rejected by your isp error 2 and to update my email address , i dont know whats going off as my account seems to be ok

Check your email address on giffgaff make sure it's correct, if gg can't send u email due to it being wrong they tell u, cheers

Hi i checked all that and my email is correct , just confused as to why ive got an email sayign there is something wrong with my account

Just to be clear how did you get the message, was it an email, text or a private msg via the dashboard?

Just be careful its not some sort of phishing scam. I think it probably is worth contacting an agent to double check the message is genuine.

It's a legitimate message from giffgaff, and is sent if emails they've tried to send you have been rejected (bounced) by your email service provider.  This often happens with the likes of Hotmail (Outlook), Yahoo etc, if your mailbox is full or offline for maintenance etc., but also happens if an incorrect or deleted email address is used. If your email address is correct and is working properly, you can ignore the message.
