""Getting A short Term Loan With Bad Credit Rating""

Hello all,

Why I was younger I got into abit of bother with repayments on a loan about 7 years ago. So my credit rating wouldn't be the best. Recently I have been hit with an unforeseen bill that needs paying around £100.00 and was just wandering do any of you great giffgaffers know of any payday short term loan websites that offer people with bad credit a chance to become a customer o can more then afford the rapayments ect say for example (borrow £100.00 pay back £150 over three months £50.00 per instalment)

@starkey93 Sorry to hear about that but it happens 🙁... and it does unfortunately affect your credit rating in the future, until of course you can build it back up again .... most of the loan companies we hear of are bad news, with extortionate interest rates, is there not anyone that could lend you the money and maybe you could pay them back? Sounds to me that you are willing and able to pay someone back in 'months' rather than 'years', see if the other giffgaffers know of any companies,  all the best starkey93

If you look at interest rate on these payday loans you are better off not bothering ,

if you do get a loan off them it will not help your credit rating but make it worse as you are seen as being in a desperate position

some credit rating sites expane it , 

 

if you only want that amount of money surly it’s better to buy a £50 phone second hand then save up what you need , 

Be carefull get your credit rating back on track is my advise

Your best bet is speaking to your bank. An agreed overdraft would be a much cheaper way to borrow money
