samsung galaxy s3 saying not registered on network PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

hi guys ive just put a new sim in my galaxy s3 yesterday everything has been working fine ringing texting and internet in the last ten minutes ive tried to text and ring people and its comeing up with the message not registered on network??? please help ive had a giffgaff card in this phone before everything worked fine and the phone is unlocked! cheers people mark!

We are currently experiencing an outage for voice and data (2G and 3G). We are investigating the issue and hope to have it up and running as soon as possible.

All users will experience intermittent voice and data for the duration.

Network issues unfortunately, effecting A LOT of people!!!

Problem O2 end - check their website for extra details on outage!

This is a major problem for lots of people just now

its because of an O2 outage

so nothing Giffgaff can do!

everyone is getting the same thing.

it should be getting fixed soon tho!

maybe sometime today.

hi
this same thing was happening with me and it took
mw 3 and a half hours to work it out and I have fixed it
so what you need to do;
when you are putting in from sim you will feel
something like a click once you feel that click don't
let go because that's what you would do normally
so keep the sim pressed until it will go in any longer and put
the battery back In whiled yur still holding the sim card and turn
the phone on and it should come on to the lock screen and it should say your networks name then unlock the phone do not let go of the sim and go in to calls and try to make a call then let then sim go and straight away click the sim in as you would normally do and it should be working thanks
