Hello jst wondering if anyone can help jst upgraded my firmware via kies for my unlocked samsung galaxy s3 ... Now a box pops up saying

It means that the phone is locked your phone must not have been unlocked go to your local phone shop and they will unlock it for you.

That means your phone is locked and you cannot use the sim
unless you enter an unlock code. You need an unlock code to
be able to use the phone with giffgaff.

Hello again phone was working great on giffgaff untill I upgraded the firmware, could it of relocked it?

go to blade Stafford road then go inside and unlock it

sounds like your phone is still locked , go to a high street  phone shop and ask them to check it for you
