Hi my old number from 3 got transferred today but I can't seem to make any calls and also my phone is displaying emergency calls only what does this mean

giffgaff have experienced and issue where where all number transfers to giffgaff scheduled for the 16th March 2018 have failed. Therefore members who were scheduled to transfer their number to giffgaff yesterday are still waiting for their number to be activated on giffgaff. 

The engineers have identified the issue and are currently working to get this resolved asap. For more details check out this https://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Service-Updates/Issue-with-Porting-in-on-the-16th-March-2018/m-p/2... service thread.

It means the transfer hasn't completed yet.  Restart your phone at 30 minute intervals to check again.  If it's an iPhone, sync it to itunes. 

 Payback selection choice is now closed. Payout expected to begin late afternoon on Monday 17th June 2019

The transfer process can take up to 24 hrs to complete. Wait out this period first before worrying and restart your device periodically to check on progress.

Hi giffgafful my phone is still the same when put my phone on it says not registered on network does this mean my phone is blocked to giffgaff sim ???

Hi ryandsena thanks for getting back my old number has come through because it's showing up on my profile but I can't seem to make any calls and also phone is saying not registered on network it's taking the mickey now because it has been 24 hours and still my sim is not working !!!

As has been mentioned above, all number transfers scheduled for Friday 16/03 failed.  The fault has been found and fixed, so your number should now be working on giffgaff.  Restart your phone and check it.
