Her existing mobile provider should give her a PAC within 2hrs then it takes upto 1 working day to port the number over to giffgaff once requested.

1-2 days http://bit.ly/giffgaffportin On the day of porting in it'll take up to 9pm at the most.

But usually it's very quick on the day.1-2 workinng days is what you wait for it to happen.

well it probably would take around 2/3 days to sort it all out an agent would take till tommorrow to reply  and at least the minimum of 2 days to port your number over Smiley Happy

order a "hybrid" sim which can be used as a standard sim or can be pinched into a micro sim Smiley Happy

Ofcoms new rule says that from this month onwards, your previous provider must give your PAC within 2 hours of requesting it. The porting process can only be started 2 days after you give giffgaff your PAC code.

Don't forget to choose a solution for your problem and award kudos appropriately! Smiley Happy
