unable to connect to WIFI

recently swapped to giff gaff and for some reason my phone wont find my modem anymore.modem is defiantely okay because other devices can connect , dont suppose anyone has any ideas ?

Turn phone on and off and do the same with the router. Scan the networks, click your one and then reenter the password.

Shouldn't really be affected as Wifi is done from the device, not the sim, what phone is it?

Well Wifi is nothing at all to do with any network....

Is wifi enabled on your phone?

Hi Ross,

 

While changing to giffgaff should have no impact on wifi I'm happy to try resolve the problem.

 

What phone have you got and what have you tried so far to sort this?

Make sure that all the wires in the router are in. Although it may look fine, if the cable that connects to the weird looking phone line like socket, the lights will be on but you won't get any internet.

thanks , this work straight away , didnt think to reset the router
