web not working on 10 pounds goodybag.

hi guys,

 i am having problem with my net in my xperia play since today afternoon.

i don't know wwhat's wrong i tried switching off and on. i can make calls and send text.

There seems to be some network problems with o2

Check for any problems on the o2 network at http://status.o2.co.uk remembering to look at planned maintanence, too.
Please also take the time to look at the coverage of both the o2 2G and 3G (maybe even 3G900 depending if your device supports it) signal at http://www.o2.co.uk/coveragechecker and see if you live in a blackspot as of course this could be what's causing you issues.

It may not show right now as the website only updates hourly. Also try to switch off your phone and back on.

Try to check whether O2 are gaving network problems in your area danipun with the link below:

EDITED as mis read.

Making calls and sending texts does not need any settings, but accessing the internet does.

Check that you have not had O2 work in your area here:  http://status.o2.co.uk/

 

If nothing showing try a soft reset by turning off your phone and removing the battery.

Leave for 10 mins and replace.

 

If still a problem go to your applications list and find task manager.

Close active applications

In RAM Clear Memory

 

Now try again.

 

If still a problem you may have to consider a factory rest, but you will lose data and applications, but not contacts.

try reinstalling the settings , text SETTINGS to 202 , or download the giffgaffapn app from the android market using wifi and run the app
