Its sounds like a code to unlock your phone so it can work with any network, and not just the one the phone is restricted to.

If it is the unlock code then more info on unlocking here

hope this helps

Sounds like your phone is locked, you'll need to get the original provider to unlock it or take it to a phone stall who do unlocking. You could also google "unlock code" for your model, sometimes the codes are free.

If you are trying to unlock your phone you will need to take your phone to an unlocking shop to obtain the sim network unlock code.

Your phone is currently locked to a network provider. The SIM card you're trying now is not compatible without unlocking your mobile phone.

Please reply with your mobile manufacturer and model (e.g. iPhone 4S, Nokia E72 etc.), and I will try and get a code to you; or an alternative to unlock your phone, if one exists.

All the best. Smiley Happy

Hi there jessemay.
Your device is asking for an 8 number pin code because its locked to another network. For your device to work on giffgaff, then it needs to be unlocked or locked onto the o2 network. There are a number of ways that this can be achieved.

1) Contact your current service provider and they can unlock it for a small fee.

2) You can take your device to any phone shop or market and also have it unlocked on o2,again for a small fee.

3) There is an unlocking service for most devices and there are also many websites than can unlock your device for free.

Please find below 3 links that can help to unlock your device thankyou.

Or please also look for your device by clicking onto the link below.

The safest way is to get an imei unlock code from your previous network. Don't be tempted to use an unlock code from an untrusted source as you only have a limited number of attempts to enter the correct code.
