Hi, Got my phone and sim two days ago, followed the instructions ref the Access POint Names which seems to be set correctly but I get no 4G and in Network Mode it doesnt even have 4G as an option. Any ideas?

Are you sure that neither 4G nor LTE is showing?

What handset do you have? Is it 4G capable?

Do you get a 3G connection?

@woodf66 Some phones are not 4G compatible (e.g. IPhone 5 original) you need to be in a 4G area too see

Phone is latest Samsung and I had 4G on my previous phone, also nothing at work either and in the settings 4G doesn't even appear so I wonder if there is something wrong with sim?

Yes its the latest Samsung Galaxy S9 and we do get 4G here on other phones

If 4G/LTE does not appear as an option then the issue is with the phone as it it does not matter what SIM is inserted. It should  at least show you the 4G option.

Any idea what I do about that? How do I contact someone at GiffGaff as I got phone from them ?

I don't know about the new S9 (lucky you( but see if you can edit your device's network settings, from the Home screen, follow these steps:

 

Step 1: Tap Menu Menu Key → Settings Settings Icon → Connections Settings Connection Tab Icon → More networks Settings Bluetooth Icon  → Mobile networks.

 

Step 2: Tap Network mode and select Global to connect to any available network. 

 

Step 3: Choose LTE to connect to your carrier's 4G network.
