Great Crested Grebe

I was out shooting the powerboats on the Dam and there's a good number of Grebes which are relatively unconcerned by the boats - had the 500mm lens on (7D, f/4.5, ISO100, 1/640) and Grebe was a little too close, so too large in the frame (prefer breathing room and more of the environment in my shots, for context)

Lovely shot despite the closeness @markulous Smiley Happy  It's not too often that you find yourself saying to wildlife "just move back a bit will you" Smiley Happy

Sometimes you just can't win @markulous, when 500 is too long.........lol, it's normally not enough, but whatever length you've got it's never enough...Smiley Wink
