I have been doing the Practical Photography Magazine: Camera School and this was my July entry.  i got a Gold award for it so pretty pleased with that.  Its a free course (I guess you have to either buy or have access tot he magazine to get the brief) and like with this one, it gets you doing shots you wouldn't normallly do.  It also makes you pick up your camera at least once a moth which has to be good.  Thought you would like to see my entry.CameraSchool_Module1 (submission).jpgStill life - window light

Great pic.

Is this course at a training centre or do you follow it at home, guided by the magazine column each week/month?

Hi @haseebhejazi its in Practical Photography Magazine.  I think the next one is on sale early August.  Then just look for Camera School.  If you can get a copy of last months issue then I think you still have time to enter Module 2 if not it will be module 3 in the next issue

@djreynolds it is a course in the magazine.  They give you a brief and a couple of articles on the techniques needed and then there is a Facebook Group where people talk to each other about their entries, get tips etc.  Then when you are happy you submit it and they judge it Gold, Silver or Bronze with some feedback and you get a certificate mailed to you.  The first module was this still life one and the second is intentional camera movement - its quite abstract and totally different from Module 1.  Keeps it interesting
