You’re thinking of picking up a new smartphone with decent specs and good features but are puzzled as your budget isn’t allowing you to get one. Well, I’m here to tell you that you don’t need to sell your kidney or break your piggy bank to be able to buy a phone with the latest design and features. The budget smartphone segment has grown leaps and bounds over the years so there are a number of great options. Today in ascending order we are going to look at three affordable smartphones.
Motorola Moto E5
When you hand over £119 you wouldn’t really expect to be getting a whole lot. The Moto E5 has a 5.7” screen with less bezel which is what you would usually find on a flagship smartphone so whether you’re into watching Netflix or reading an ebook, you’re going to get a comfortable viewing experience. The Moto E5 also comes with a 5MP front camera and a 13MP rear camera. Inside the phone, it has 16GB of internal storage which can be increased using a micro SD card, 2 GB of RAM, a massive 4,000 mAh of battery and a Snapdragon 425 processor which is more than enough.

Huawei Y7 (2018)
I have owned a number of Huawei devices in the past and one of the things I love about their phones is the number of features they pack into their phones. This phone has a 5.99” HD+ display which does a marvellous job considering the price, as well as face, unlock technology, which is usually found in devices three times the price. It has a generous 8MP selfie camera with loads of cool features for you to play around with and a 13MP rear camera ready for social media posts.
With the Huawei Y7 2018, you are getting more without having to spend more.

The price may be near the midrange category, however this the most cost-effective iPhone you can buy right now and a great option if you want to jump into Apple’s ecosystem without harming your wallet. The iPhone SE has a timeless design, a 4” screen and has the power of the iPhone 6s A9 chip which is still to this they a very capable of running the latest apps. With Apple devices, you get updates as soon as they roll out, so you won’t miss out on any important software features or security updates. I have noticed a boost in performance since updating to iOS 12 and now you get a snappy experience when running apps and multitasking. It has a 12MP rear camera that can record in 4K, so it’s great for creating vlogs.

@jokeyboi77 I couldn't agree with you more. The iPhone SE is actually my daily driver and I love the compact form factor.
Yes my daughter had one and upgraded to the iPhone 6s but she misses the compactness about the SE @leeon1988, and I like the way Apple releases the latest IOS upgrade even to older models, whereas with Samsung 2 upgrades and you're out! 🙁
