so after some annoying issues with my current phone which for some reason cannot fathom im tempted by a new phone

a huawei ascend g700.

Now in terms of huawei stuff they all seem great from the reviews ive read (not just the g700) but other things too.

i have a huawei mifi which is perfect.

just thought a discussion could get going regarding huawei devices and there pros and cons you all may have encountered ?

I've had a few different phone models from huawei-unfortunately,not the g700.

All in all,I found them to be good phones. The only downside,as with other phones, was the battery life.Having said that,I'd still recommend huawei.

ive rea some decent things about the g700 battery, but again suppose as with any device its how you use it as to how much it drains so thats the same with any device

My mates got one. Tried entering the mms settings, but failed to send mms. I have no idea why.

I'm a big fan of the MiFi devices.

I think it's a good idea having one, it's actually designed for tethering (mine is up to five connections).

A MiFi can be left upstairs to get better signal & you can be downstairs with your phone or laptop & you'll get internet. This is great for traveling or visiting the countryside where the gg 3g signal might not be so good.

Of all the people on here whining about tethering, a MiFi is good for that & it helps you out when the gg 3g signal is poor (mine is on 3).

It means you can keep your phone cheap, with a little bit of data. Use the MiFi for laptops & what not.

I wasn't impressed with the Huawei support website - unless there is something better for existing customers?
