Text the word "Username" to 43430 to confirm the correct username for that SIM.
Ive bought a goodybag but i alrdy had one active but now the new one ive bought wasnt working
Does the previous goodybag have less than 5Mb of data, or 5 minutes, remaining?
If / when it does, you need to go to your dashboard and you should see the option to start the new goodybag early.

There is an alternative, but it will take a day or two ... explain the problem to an agent using the form at https://giffgaff.com/support/ask/incorrect_balance and the agent will normally give a small credit to allow you to buy the bag that you wanted. The agent will normally reply within 24 hours and you need to go to https://giffgaff.com/support/questions for the answer.
That may not be the best answer though. Normally its not a good idea to exchange your entire balance for a goodybag, because spare PAYG credit is occasionally needed for calls to non-standard numbers that aren't covered by goodybags, MMS, international roaming or other special services.
PAYG credit not converted to a goodybag does not expire at the end of the month, provided you do not leave your sim unused for 6 months, so you only need to do this occasionally.
Have you already activated your sim, and done the first top up?
If you have, then you can do further topups and/or buy goodybags using paypal. But you cannot (at the moment) do recurring goodybags with paypal -- so you will need to log in each month.
The activation payment can't currently be done with paypal and the payment system tends to accept only cards that match a registered UK address. The only alternative for that first payment is a voucher (o2 or giffgaff vouchers both work) but you probably can't buy vouchers in Germany.
Its only a voucher code that's needed, not the actual voucher -- so if you have a friend or relative in the UK that you trust, you could ask them to buy the voucher for you and email its number.
