Hi, have looked at your GG/BB guide - thanks for that. For 4 weeks now, I have tried all the tips on the community and talked to agents but still no BB service. All I know is that the setup is good, my friend with same BB model (Torch 980) and GG sim can use BB service on my handset. My GG siim doesn't get BB service on his handset. So I concluded it was a GG issue. They assure me it isn't and for some reason labelled my query as SLOW DATA even tho there were no issues with speed.

Anyway I did the diagnostics you suggested:

OS 6/7 Devices

Go to options/Network and connections/Mobile networks, press the BB logo, choose Diagnostics test, press BB logo again and press RUN...

If you get YES in front of Connected to blackberry: YES, Blackberry PIN-PIN: YES, then your blackberry services are enabled.

If you get NO in front of Connected to blackberry: NO, Blackberry PIN-PIN: NO, then your blackberry services arent enabled.

Instead of YES or NO, I got ABORTED. Could you tell me what this means? thanks heaps.

There seem to be some SIMS which have not been provisioned for Blackberry services - maybe older ones.  I recently activated one which had been sat around for over 18 months and Blackberry services were unavailable, although swapping for an another unactivated SIM caused the Blackberry logo to appear.

This was fixed within a few hours by raising an agent case.  It's quite likely there are other SIMs around with this problem.
