I just learnt something from another member, Something wonderfull... So Im sure iits prob been spread before but here is the wonderfull tip II learned, just has to be shared again!!

http://www.weq4u.co.uk/

weQ4U - Go check the website for all the info but basically if you have an 0800 0870 0845 number to call we all know these are charged at 12 per minute and dont come out of the call allowance.... This company give you a simple 0333 number to dial, followed by the 0870 and then it connects as usual but comes out youre allowance as its an 0333 number!  How cool is that!!! Smiley Happy

There is also an APP where you just dial the 0870 etc number from and it works...

Personally Ive storred the 0333 5432111 number in  my phonebook... Next time I have to dial the Gas Company Ill be doing it this way..

Thanks to the member I just accidently learnt this off...  ( Thanks figment_uk)  I just had to share!

You know how it is when you see something new like this and just feel "OMG I have to tell the world!) lol

Why did I not already know this I ask myself... I just called Barclays to test it through the APP and it worked..

Dont take a lot to excite me these days!

Using this the next time I have to call Student Finance!

I've just upgraded to FlexPlus with Nationwide and they've given me a card with a dedicated customer service number which is an 0845. On the same card, they have a different number if you are calling from abroad, which is the local area number for Swindon, where the head office is based. Erm, think I'll use that one...

just remember the weq4u app actually needs a data connection to operate.

far better to ring the 0333 number they have as the alternative way

Used it the other day.....Worked a treat.

Didn't even realise that I couldn't call 0845 or 0870 from my goodybag allowance either.

Discovered the weq4u number after reading a few posts here....giffgaff forum is useful for something.

I don't use this one but I do use say no to 0870. Is this better or does it just do the same thing?

It's a slightly more automated version, I guess. I use sayno, but I might give this a go when that site doesn't have a free number.
