You will need to be at least 18 and have:
A Machine Readable Passport (MRP) from any country that issues them. Most countries provide them.
A full or provisional Driving Licence issued in England, Scotland or Wales. (Not Ireland).
Follow the video tutorial below.
Once the content bar has lifted you will get a text message from giffgaff.
Been over 24 hours? The official word on this is:
It will take up to 24 hours for the bar to be lifted. A reboot may be required so do this at intervals.
If it has been longer than 24 hours, please contact an agent to find out if there is an issue. https://support2.giffgaff.com/app/ask/Calls-texts-and-data/Controlling-Adult-Content/form/
If your adult settings were working before then try clearing your phones cache and rebooting.
An agent WILL NOT lift the adult content lock any more.
The O2 Website Removal Tool will only work on o2 sims as you need an o2 account to pay £1 from and have it debited back into. Also an o2 shop will NOT remove it.
Giving agents your credit/debit card details will NOT make any difference.
For technical reasons, the system does not accept passports which are not using the machine-readable format. The form will be submitted but the screen will keep displaying the "Your adult content changes are in progress, please check it later" message, and the bar won't be lifted.
Make the request to remove the block and you will be asked to enter details from your driver licence. From recollection you then get an SMS to confirm that it's been done
Ha you beat me to it! I did receive the text while filming but the phone had to be on silent. I've added a screen shot of the message now, all 3 messages from giffgaff as thats how many times ive lifted the bar this evening while filming Cheers @slaval

I was under the impression that MRP was sufficient
