"3% cashback on mobile phone, home phone, broadband and paid-for TV packages" is one of the features of the account.

Would the Giffgaff payment, regardless of it it was or wasn't on direct debit receive 3% cashback or is that deal only on the overpriced larger networks?

Can anyone confirm if they get a discount on Giffgaff using the account?

Unfortunately not . I've got the 123 account, cash back seems to only apply to regular direct debits

So is it the lack of Giffgaff not offering a direct debit as a means of payment or that Giffgaff is too small to be included in the discount?

No cash back because it only applies to direct debit payments. It would be good if giffgaff offered DD because it would save them money as dd payments are much cheaper than card payments.

I've just got the Santander 123 account.

How do we ask GiffGaff to consider setting up direct debits as a payment option?  In order for account holders to get the 3% cashback?

Would like to see DD capability added by giffgaff. I was about to switch my payment to Santander but won't bother now.

I pay Giff Gaff by direct debit and am with Santander. Must check if I get discounts.
