UNLIMITED DATA

Giffgaff offer Truly Unlimited Internet on the £10 goodybag and above.

THERE IS NO FAIR USE POLICY / DATA LIMIT

But there ARE terms and conditions regarding usage patterns:

The only things you need to remember are:
NO TETHERING
NO CONSTANT DOWNLOADING OR STREAMING

You can use as much data as you like, i've personally used over 20gb quite a few times..
..just dont hammer the network Smiley Happy

TIPS:
Use wifi whenever possible
If you download/stream a large file, wait a while before downloading/streaming any more..
If you're streaming a football match, stop the stream at half time

Its all about using the data FAIRLY..
There's no actual Fair Use Policy, as giffgaff are trusting us to use our common sense..
People have been banned for using around 3gb, but that was obviously done in a short space of time, therefore deserving a ban

Todays phones are very powerful and have great quality screens for watching movies, tv and playing games etc
Movies are around 1gb each
Streaming a football match uses around 1gb
Albums are around 200mb
Games can be up to 2gb each with additional files

..so its easy to use large amounts of data, especially if, like me, you have no wifi available

Good post.Very well covered on all points.
I would like to see giffgaff issue a warning text to newbies who might accidently abuse the net giving them a chance to change instead of giving automatic bans.Either that or just set a fup.

Good post and to the point, but there is one problem here, when you go into an all you can eat restaurant you would expect to eat as much as you like for the price that your asked to pay, the waiter can not come half way through the meal and say hey you your eating too much here's our T/C, the same apply's with GG people read truly unlimited internet as long as your not tethering, so they would expect to be able to use there internet to download musice or watch football, so I feel gg need to sort this one out and fast its either TRULY UNLIMITED OR NOT you can't have both, what would be next the text's lets say someone text's everyday none stop then what do they say he / she is sending too many text's out, gg have to make changes to the wording or we will get more angry people on here. But like I said good post.

@rossides
if i went into an all you can eat restaurant, ate all my food, then started eating the plates, the tables, curtains, customers etc
..would i have a case cos it says 'all you can eat' on the door???

I doubt it, it says all you can eat, but expects you to use some common sense

If i walked into an all you can eat restaurant, full of customers..
..and ate ALL the food in like 10min.. What would happen then???
