I have just bought an iPhone 6 ,my iPhone 4s sim did not fit, it has to be a nano sim , so I cut it down with a pair of high quality nail scissors , didn't cut into the gold also used a little sand paper, and it works 100% you must be very careful though.hope this helps.

your local mobile repair shop can cut sim cards to nano for £1 if giffgaffers do not want to chance cutting yourself.

Must admit for £1 had I'd known I would have gone to the local mobile shop and had it cut down , would of saved all the worry of doing it myself.

Of course you could have instead done a SIM swap to a new giffgaff triple SIM http://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Using-giffgaff/What-is-SIM-Swap/ta-p/7320084 Smiley Wink

A SIM swap as suggested above is the most straightforward way of getting a smaller SIM. It worked great for me.

Very brave @rustyknee. Yes you could have gone to the local shop and had it cut down for a £1 but you managed it anyway. Smiley Very Happy In case you ever need to make the sim bigger again your local phone shop will be able to sell you an adapter as well. Cost of that is £2-£3. Doubt you will need to do that now but you never know
