@mailimagny2009

Have you reported said phone (and SIM) as being lost? If so, then you will need to wait on the SIM which giffgaff post out to you.

If you haven't, then a few options for you;

The quickest (and owing you're not too bothered about the lost phone) would be to buy a SIM from one of many outlets such as supermarkets, convenience stores, petrol stations, etc., for around a quid, and perform a SIM swap: https://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Using-giffgaff/What-is-SIM-Swap/ta-p/7320084

SIM Swap will move over your existing number, any credit / goodybags you may have, and as such render the old SIM as dead.

Alternatively to the above, you could let us know your whereabouts (just the first part of your postcode will do) as there may be a local member that can get a SIM to you.

If however you wish to block the lost phone (and in turn the SIM which was in it will also be blocked), then follow the following link, and wait for a replacement SIM from giffgaff:

Can you post the first half of your postcode to allow a member to step forward with an offer of a new sim, for a a new activation in your area, if you want to take advantage of the £5 bonus.

If you require a sim for any other purpose, hop down to your self service store and buy one for a quid.

Hi @mailimagny2009,

Best thing would be to go to your dashboard at https://giffgaff.com/profile/details and scroll down to "lost or stolen SIM". This will report the SIM as lost/stolen, and in turn, will block the SIM from being used. Giffgaff will then send out a replacement SIM for you, which will be the only SIM that can reactivate the account.
Note that this method may take a couple of days (or so) for Giffgaff to get the SIM sent out.

Alternatively, if speed is of the essence, you can pop down to a local supermarket, mobile repair shop, newsagents, or pretty much anywhere else that sells SIM cards, and get a SIM from a shop for £1 or so.
Then, once you have your new SIM, go to your dashboard (https://giffgaff.com/profile/details), but this time select "replace my SIM". It will then guide you through the process of the SIM Swap - and your old SIM will then be de-activated.

Regards TITA

@nick_harff

Owing to it not being a replacement for a SIM which you've reported as being lost or stolen (in which case only then one coming from giffgaff HQ will suffice); then an option for a quick turnaround (providing no one chimes in) would be to pick one up from a local super market, convenience store, or anywhere that sells SIMs (since most places that do mow carry giffgaff SIMs for around a quid).

@carmenavalook

Providing that this request is not a replacement for a lost or stolen SIM (you need to sit tight for the one giffgaff sends out), then you could perhaps start with letting us know your locale (in the fashion of your town, or first part of your postcode, that will be plenty enough) as there may be a member close by you who can get you one pronto.

The other quickest method would be to pick one up for around a quid at a local supermarket, or any other outlet that sells SIM cards for that matter. Most of which now (should) all stock giffgaff SIMs.

Or, you could order one from your own orders page ( https://giffgaff.com/orders/mgm ) as giffgaff now post First Class, so you should get one in the next day or few.
