Where are you based @della61 first part postcode.

Also check if you have a 3 in 1 type SIM and you can pop out the microsim.

Alternatively lots of local stores sell them now

And then you can use SIM swap .

Back up all contacts etc if you use simswap

@della61

A few options for you;

Let us know the first part of your postcode or town you're in (not your full address as this is a public forum) as there may be a member local to you who can get you a SIM today.

Failing that, pick one up from a local supermarket, or any shop which carries SIM cards. Most now stock giffgaff SIMs for around £1.

If you're not in an immediate rush, order one from your orders page ( https://giffgaff.com/orders/mgm ). If you order now, there's a chance you may get it tomorrow (give or take) since giffgaff now post First Class.

Once you have the SIM, then in order to retain your existing number (along with any credit and/or goodybags you have), follow the link below, as it will walk you through the process of performing a SIM Swap, which is what you'll need to do:

Hiya @della61

You can buy a sim at most supermarkets  Pound shops and many other outlets.

They will cost you no more than £1 to buy and you could be up and running today Smiley Happy

Or if you want me to send you one i could post it today by first class post and you should recieve it tommorow. If you want then give me a PM.

Paging @bluemoonbaz - anywhere in your locale, lad?

@antonyquinn - Failing the above, most supermarkets, convenience stores, etc (ie, most places that sell SIM) now carry giffgaff SIMs for around a quid, so another avenue for you.

Have you tried it in another phone?

Or pick up a SIM from your local supermarket and do a SIM swap.

@nadinespice1

Have you tried perhaps restarting your device, resitting your SIM, giving it a clean, trying it in a different device (if possible), or checked to see whether you have service issues in your area (found here: https://giffgaff.com/coverage-and-service )?

If you're confident you do have a duff SIM, then you have a few options to get a new one:

Let us know your location (first part of your postcode will do, please don't post your full address) as there may be a member in your vicinity who can hook you up with one. Or, pick one up a local supermarket, or any outlet that stocks SIM cards since most now carry giffgaff ones for around a pound.

Lastly, order one from your orders page ( https://giffgaff.com/orders/mgm ). giffgaff now post First Class, so you should have it hopefully in a few days or less.

Once you have your new SIM, you'll likely be wanting to perform a SIM Swap in order to retain your existing number along with any credit or goodybags you have. The following article explains this procedure in detail:
