Hi everyone! There are lots of very positive vibes coming off the discussion on here, and I fully appreciate the efforts of our athletes to achieve their ambitions and getting all those medals. But to put a downer on it, does anyone else feel that the BBC could be doing a bit better on the presentation of their coverage. I know they don't have control of the cameras, and that's a bit of a shame. It's understandable that any sport with a Brazillian doing well will get all the camera time, and we may not get much of a look-in. There's a lot of talking, and if you can put up with the boredom of listening there is often good info in the talk. But where do you go to get older information on what has happened? There's plenty of bandwidth on all the BBC channels available, but not much coverage of things you may have missed. If you are watching one sport, you pretty much have to miss out on the others. What I am worried about is that it's difficult to find progress reports/results for some of the less popular things. I follow the sailing, and had to go out last night before they showed the second Nacra 17 Mixed race of the day (it was postponed several times for wind shifts). When I came home last night I could not find reference to it anywhere on the BBC web page or much anywhere else, and ended up getting the best info on Facebook. Come on BBC, get with the records and let us know what we have missed out on, even if we can't see the pictures!
